Thomas Klein - Chief Executive Officer and Director
Tom Klein joined Golden Phoenix in the depths of the global credit crisis.
He brought a new perspective on the kind of business model that would be
required to transform a small company like Golden Phoenix, into a much
larger, multi-project company with diversified properties throughout the
Americas.
Mr. Klein is an investment banker by profession. He comes to Golden
Phoenix with over a decade of experience raising capital and structuring
acquisitions for mining projects in the U.S. and Canada. His expertise will
allow Golden Phoenix to speak the language of the financial community
and position the company for expanded growth. Under his leadership, the
company has extinguished debt, obtained capital and successfully
launched the Mineral Ridge Gold Project. Additional projects are currently
underway in jurisdictions favorable to mining.
Since 1996, Mr. Klein has worked with leaders in the financial industry
including Scotia Capital Markets, Blackmont Capital and Private Venture
Capital. His expertise includes specialized advice to small cap resource
companies, mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and wealth
management for high net worth corporate and private clients.
